Sunshine & The Silver Seams + Nathon Jones

Sunshine & The Silver Seams are a Scottish based alternative folk duo, comprising of the couple Jyothi Nayar and Benjamin Haynes. Support from local singer/songwriter Nathon Jones.

A simple twist of fate landed them together one morning on Dumfries high street. It wasn’t long before they unearthed the treasure of their two voices in harmony.

Sharing a passion for music, and with a wealth of songs written independently, their partnership only strengthened each other's creative output. From here a natural progression formed out of writing and performing their own original compositions as well as their renditions of classic songs by Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan. This has garnered them a steady local buzz within the short time they have been working together.

After releasing their debut EP - Every Cloud - on the 1st of January 2026, they played a sold out show to the Robert Burns Centre in Dumfries to great acclaim.

Moving forward, the duo look to perform further afield and continue writing and recording their original music.

Providing support will be local singer/songwriter Nathon Jones who is well-known to the music scene in Dumfries & Galloway.  Nathon is currently recording his debut album which he hopes to release later in the year.
