NestFest is Galloway's first ever Rock/Metal all dayer festival! We have 7 bands to entertain you from 5pm! A Jokers Rage headline from a 6 year Hiatus. This is only one of three gigs they have announced they are playing at so far!  A Joker’s Rage is a four piece genre-disrupting rock band from the North of England that fuses heavy riffs with dance grooves and theatrical influences. Imagine a young Spandau Ballet in facepaint playing Metallica’s instruments, writing songs that not only rock the masses but hypnotically induce any stale audience into a frenzied dance party and you’re a bit closer to understanding the message. The band’s debut album, The Rain Dance, dropped in the winter of 2019 and served as an excellent passport into AJR’s iconoclastic world and creative vision. One of very few bands who would sit equally comfortably on a Download Festival line up just as much as they would at Glastonbury and it’s this kind of divserive and artistic reach that has put A Joker’s Rage in a prime position to break out worldwide. A Joker’s Rage have been compared musically to an unorthodox cocktail off Biffy Clyro, Don Broco, Bring Me The Horizon and even Queen but it’s impossible to define the group that easily. The band creates from its own impulses and feelings, setting trends instead of following them. The music boils over, the lyrics are passionate and personal, and the stage show is intense and theatrical. Making great music is AJR’s ultimate goal, not money and fame, an attitude that can be heard in every track on The Rain Dance. Rock and pop fans looking for new artists that are unique, fearless, and compelling need to find A Joker’s Rage tonight.
Second on the bill is Pyroclast. PYROCLAST is a Glasgow-based metal band that blends the fire and fury of old-school heavy metal with the precision of power metal and the intensity of modern thrash.
Soaring vocal melodies collide with harmonised twin-guitar leads, driving rhythms, and anthemic choruses, forging a sound that is both relentless and cinematic.
Over the past few years, under their former name TANTRUM, the band evolved from a local underground act into one of the UK’s fiercest independent metal bands. Their third album, No
Place for the Damned, marked a seismic shift—heavier, more intricate, and critically acclaimed, earning 10/10 reviews and heavy airplay for singles “The Darkest of Times” and “W.A.I.L.” In
2025, the album was re-released as No Place for the Damned Redux MMXXV under the PYROCLAST name, with redesigned artwork and remastered audio, cementing the new era.
Third we have Six Year Silence are an Alternative Metal band with hard hitting and energetic live shows. Forged from the streets of Glasgow, Scotland in 2015, Six Year Silence is the perfect blend of groove and stadium worthy melodies. In their strive for perfection the band has evolved through the years and the line up has never been stronger.
Each member of the band has a strong musical past, sharing stages with the likes of Bon Jovi, Alter Bridge, Limp Bizkit, Skillet, Hinder and Thin Lizzy.
Fourth we have The High Priestess, The High Priestess are an alternative rock band from Dumfries, weaving raw emotion, intricate melodies, and thought-provoking lyrics into their music. Exploring themes of life, loss, and social justice, their sound balances intensity with vulnerability. What began as an acoustic duo has evolved into a powerful four-piece, expanding their sonic depth and artistic vision. Their journey recently reached new heights as they headlined the iconic King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, cementing their place as an exciting rising force in the Scottish music scene.
Fifth we have Damaged Goods. If you are a fan of Motley Crue, AC/DC, Skid Row, Guns N Roses then you are in for a real treat.
Straight from the get-go with their fast, high-energy introduction, Damaged Goods do exactly what they say on the tin: ‘Cumbrian no nonsense Rock N Roll’.  Playing a mixture of covers and their own songs. The last time they played The Vault Bob left a guitar rack behind. They are coming back to reclaim it!
Sixth we have we have Barstool Rebels.  Grab that melting pot...tip in a bucketful of rock, ten scoops of roll, pour in a big bottle of blues, a glass of boogie, a jigger of southern, a pinch of country, a big measure of crunch, a slug of punk, five shots of fun & a barrel of good time!  The boys have just released their debut ep - Beershed Sessions - on all major streaming platforms in the near future!
Seventh and bringing up the rear are Chopperhead! They bring their own brand of wit and banter and musicianship. The boys play metal and rock covers over the decades! Mick will talk about all things topical during the set ranging from trouser ferrets to body parts of the band and audience!
