Kirroughtree Duathlon raises £707!

Nearing the finish line!

A lung-busting 10km run through the woods and a leg-busting 18km cycle straight afterwards - at this year's Galloway Hillbillies Kirroughtree Duathlon on Sunday 12th May - raised an unbelievable £707 for The Vault Arts Centre. A huge thank you to everyone who donated.

Surprised myself with my run, as I just don't run anywhere or in public, but my legs were shattered for the cycle. Still, I wasn't last over the finish line which is something to be proud of (I think!) for my first ever duathlon anyway.

Completed the course in just over 2.5 hours and was 37th overall, which I think was last place in the solo group, but I fully enjoyed the experience despite every muscle in my body aching today.
